Description

Are you passionate about school development and want to make a real difference? We are looking for a driven and committed development leader who wants to strengthen the strategic and operational development work of the education sector.

Here you will have the opportunity to influence at both the principal level and unit level.

Kil has an administration where the organization is divided into sectors, and the education sector includes preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, high school, and IM.

Responsibilities

Together with management groups and other working groups, you will identify development needs and initiatives by having a central role in the systematic quality work at both the principal level and unit level.

You will plan, lead, and follow up on plans and identified development areas in close collaboration with principals and the school manager.

Your assignment also includes monitoring the external environment to keep the principal and units updated regarding current research in the field of school development, new guidelines and regulations, as well as changes in the Education Act that require adjustment.

Qualifications

You have a pedagogical university degree and experience in leading development processes within the school sector. You have a good understanding of both the principal's mission and the challenges associated with it. Experience as a school leader and completion of a principal program is an advantage.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability. You should be able to work both strategically and operationally. You have the ability to analyze, identify, and take initiatives for improvements and drive development areas forward. You have a coaching approach.

As a person, you are unpretentious, a good listener, and have the ability to build trusting relationships. Furthermore, you are communicative in both speech and writing and have the ability to convey complex issues in a simple and understandable way.
